SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD

PANO needs to fill the vacancy position of 2ⁿᵈ Vice-President. This position will be for the remaining term that will end on May 31, 2030.
According to the Constitution & Bylaws of this Association, “any vacancy in any PANO Executive Office, other than the position of President, shall be filled for the remaining unexpired term of that office by a secret ballot of the majority (50% +1) of the voting members in attendance at any Special Meeting called for the purpose of filling any such vacancy.” Any PANO member of good standing will be eligible to vote as set forth in our by-laws. For voting purposes, a member of good standing shall be deemed as a member who has been a dues paying member for (90) days prior to the date of the election.
For the election of any Executive Board member, a member of good standing shall be deemed as any member who has been a dues paying member for six (6) months prior to the qualification date for members wishing to qualify for the Executive Board position.
Any PANO member, who has been a dues paying member since January 10, 2026 who wishes to qualify for the unexpired term of 2ⁿᵈ Vice-President, shall submit their written nomination request to the PANO Office, 320 N. Carrollton Avenue #202, New Orleans, Louisiana 70119. Nominations must be submitted no later than Monday July 27, 2026, at 4:00PM.
Within 24 hours following the aforesaid closing date for filing declarations of candidacy, the Recording Secretary Claudia Bruce shall determine and then certify the list of all eligible candidates for the Special Election that will be held on Wednesday August 12, 2026 @ 6:00PM.
